Dear people we support and carers,
Happy New Year and I hope 2025 is a great year for you all, in life and with The Action Group.
There is a lot to look forward to at The Action Group this year. Things like:
TAG Talks: a place where people we support, staff and carers can come together and tell us something, ask us something or give us an idea.
The Annual Review: A chance to share stories about your life and support from The Action Group.
TAG Evolve: This year we will focus on the benefits of our new community based teams. You will also find out how people felt about TAG Evolve in our survey results coming out soon.
Ongoing support: making sure we are fully staffed, meaning we can stop using agency staff. More training for staff on digital devices so they can help you if you need this type of support.
The Prentice Centre: This is your hub for you to use and attend activities and groups that are important to you. Why not come along to our activities run by Tiffany each week - click the button to see the activities calendar.
TAG Weaving a Community: Help us to finish off our last panel and complete this exciting project. For the next tapestry sessions please click the button.

Our theme for the year is Be Kind - so let’s start by being kind to ourselves and then you will have the space and joy to Be Kind to others.
Joe Wicks MBE also known as The Body Coach, came to The Action Group in February. This was part of his Workplace Tour.
We all had a great time with Joe, thanks to everyone who came along!
The whole of social care is facing funding cuts this year. This means less money for 2025-2026.
The Action Group are safe - but there might be less money to do some of the extra things we try to do every year.
I will update you in March on what this might mean.
